A partnership website for a Canadian pharmaceutical manufacturer
Sigma Life Sciences manufactures and sells OTC and nutraceutical products from a licensed facility in Whitby, Ontario. The company grows through deals. We designed and built a website for the people on the other side of those deals: licensors, brand owners looking for a manufacturer, and founders open to selling.

Pharma websites answer to two audiences
Patients and shoppers want to find a product. Business partners want proof. A company licensing a formulation into Canada, or looking for a contract manufacturer, checks the licence, the facility's compliance status, the years in business and who owns the company. They do this before they answer your first email.
For a mid-sized manufacturer, that second group drives growth. A European company with a patented formulation needs a Canadian partner to bring it to market. A brand owner needs a facility that can produce to regulatory standard. A founder with a small OTC line wants a buyer who knows the category. Each of them lands on the website with a short list of questions and little patience.
Health product marketing also carries rules about what a company can claim. That pushes the design toward facts a partner can check, such as regulatory status, history and ownership, and away from promotional language.
The job
Sigma brought 35 years in the industry, a Health Canada approved and cGMP compliant facility, and supply relationships with major Canadian drug store chains. It also belongs to Sigma Group, a diversified holding company with interests in technology, real estate, hospitality and finance.
The website needed to:
- Show that credibility in the first screen
- Explain the four ways a partner can work with Sigma
- Present the product range without turning into a catalogue
- Send every serious inquiry to one place
We designed and built the site from scratch.
Design and build decisions
One page, one path.
We built a single scrolling page with anchor navigation: About, Our Focus, Product, Contact. A business development lead reading on a phone between meetings gets the whole picture without clicking through menus.
Credentials in the opening paragraph.
The hero states the facility's Health Canada approval and cGMP compliance up front. A licensor screening partners sees the answer to their first question before they scroll.
Four partnership routes.
We gave In-Licensing, Contract Manufacturing, Acquisitions and Product Expansion a card each, with one line of plain explanation. Every card points to the same contact form, so a partner never has to work out which department to email.
The parent company, in view.
A section on Sigma Group explains the ownership and links out to the group site. When you are weighing a licensing deal or an acquisition, the backing behind your counterparty matters.
Portfolio by category.
We listed twelve product categories, from allergy and analgesics to topical formulations and medical devices. A retail buyer or manufacturing partner sees the range at a glance. Sigma does not have to maintain a SKU catalogue on the corporate site.
Branded products get their own home.
Sigma's flagship branded product has a short section that links to its dedicated website. The corporate site stays focused on partnerships, and the product site handles the consumer and clinician audience.
Every call to action ends at one form.
"Start the Journey," "Let's Talk," "Get Started Now" and "Partner With Us" all lead to a four-field form: name, phone, email, message. The footer carries the street address and phone number for partners who prefer to call.
Where it stands
The site went live in November 2025. gang&lani media continues to maintain it.
Running a healthcare business in the UAE?
Pharmaceutical distributors, nutraceutical brands, medical device suppliers and clinics face the same test. Your future partners and regulators read your website before they read your proposal. We build sites that answer their questions early, keep claims inside what you can support, and route inquiries to the people who close deals.
